Copy these from your Etsy Ads dashboard, all for the same date range.
The defaults (2% conversion rate, $0.30 per click) are placeholders, not Etsy figures. Your own numbers from the Etsy Ads dashboard will give a far more useful answer. Offsite Ads are a separate program and are not part of these calculations.

The key point: a "good" ROAS depends on your margin. A shop with thin margins needs a much higher ROAS than a shop with high margins.
Your Etsy Ads dashboard shows clicks, orders, spend and revenue. Your conversion rate is orders ÷ clicks, and your average cost per click is spend ÷ clicks. Use at least a few weeks of data: a handful of clicks says very little.
It is worth it when your ROAS is above your break-even ROAS, which is your revenue per order divided by your profit per order before ads. Enter your Etsy Ads dashboard numbers in the "Check my results" tab to see your profit after ads.
There is no single good ROAS: it depends on your margin. If a $35 order leaves you $12 profit before ads, you break even at a ROAS of about 2.92 and anything above that is profit.
The minimum daily budget is $1. The daily budget is a hard cap, so Etsy does not spend more than you set for the day.
You pay only when someone clicks your ad. Clicks are billed to your Etsy Payment account the next day.
No. Etsy Ads are pay-per-click ads on Etsy with a daily budget you control. Offsite Ads run outside Etsy and charge 15% or 12% of an order only when an ad leads to a sale, capped at $100 per order. Your Etsy Ads budget does not apply to Offsite Ads.
