Resize up to 10 product photos to Etsy-friendly sizes, keep them under 1 MB and check how they crop in search thumbnails. Everything happens in your browser: your photos never leave your device.
🔒 Your photos are processed on your device with your browser. They are never uploaded to ListifyAI or anywhere else.
iPhone HEIC photos may not open in some browsers. Convert them to JPEG first (on iPhone, Settings › Camera › Formats › Most Compatible makes new photos JPEG).
The dashed boxes show centred crops, the way thumbnails are cut in search and on your shop page. Your product should sit inside all three. If it does not, use Fit mode, or adjust the thumbnail with Etsy's own tool after uploading.
"Download all" saves the files one by one. Your browser may ask once for permission to download several files.
ListifyAI AI Photo Studio turns one product photo into clean, styled listing images (15 credits). 20 free credits at signup, no card.
Try ListifyAI free — 20 credits →Etsy's help center recommends listing photos with a width and height of at least 2000 pixels. The first photo, the one shown in search, should be at least 635 pixels wide and tall "to avoid showing up lower in searches", and it should be horizontal (landscape) or square. Etsy also warns that images larger than 1 MB may not finish uploading.
This resizer gives you three outputs that respect those numbers:
| Preset | Pixels | Use it for |
|---|---|---|
| Landscape 4:3 | 2667 × 2000 | Your first photo. Matches the usual landscape thumbnail. |
| Square | 2000 × 2000 | First photo or any photo. Safe everywhere. |
| Portrait 4:5 | 2000 × 2500 | Extra photos, such as clothing on a model. Avoid it for the first photo. |
Etsy shows the same photo in square, portrait and landscape thumbnails depending on where it appears, so it recommends keeping enough border around the subject. The preview above draws the three centred crops on top of each resized photo. If the product touches the edge of any box, a buyer may see it cut off. Fit mode adds background around the product, which is the easiest way to make it survive every crop. After uploading, you can still fine-tune the framing with Etsy's thumbnail adjustment tool.
Etsy does not support transparent PNGs: transparent areas show up as black. The resizer always flattens transparency onto your background colour and exports a JPEG, so a cut-out product on a transparent background comes out on clean white (or any colour you choose).
Each photo is saved as JPEG at quality 0.92. If the file is over 1 MB, the tool tries again at lower quality, step by step down to 0.6, and keeps the first version under 1 MB. You see the final size and quality for every photo. Very detailed or noisy photos may still be over 1 MB at 0.6; a plainer background usually fixes that.
Enlarging a photo does not add detail. If the shorter side of your original is under 2000 px the tool warns you, and if it is under 635 px it warns you strongly, because the result will look blurry when buyers zoom in. Reshoot at full camera resolution when you can.
The resizing runs in your browser with the canvas feature built into every modern browser. Nothing is uploaded, which also makes it fast and private. HEIC photos from iPhones may not open in some browsers, so convert them to JPEG first.
Etsy recommends photos at least 2000 pixels wide and tall, with a landscape or square first photo. 2667 × 2000 (landscape 4:3) or 2000 × 2000 (square) are good choices, saved as JPEG under 1 MB.
No. The photos are resized and compressed in your own browser. They never leave your device and are not sent to ListifyAI or any server.
Etsy does not support transparent PNGs and shows transparent areas as black. This tool fills transparency with the background colour you choose, white by default, and exports a JPEG.
If the original is smaller than the output size, it has to be enlarged, and enlarging cannot add detail. The tool warns you when the shorter side is under 2000 px and strongly when it is under 635 px. Use the full-resolution original from your camera or phone.
Only if your browser can open HEIC files, and many cannot. Convert them to JPEG first, or set your iPhone camera to Most Compatible so new photos are saved as JPEG.
